Notre Dame's commanding performance against Stanford last November showcased the depth and versatility that make the Irish so formidable on the field. CJ Carr threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns, while the rushing attack, led by Jadarion Price and Aeneas Williams, piled up a combined 178 yards and four scores—even with Jeremiah Love briefly sidelined due to injury. An unforgettable 84-yard touchdown on a fake punt by Luke Talich added to Stanford’s woes.
Stanford struggled to respond, managing just 86 rushing yards and a single scoring toss from Elijah Brown, who also threw a crucial interception to Leonard Moore. With six different Irish players finding the end zone, Notre Dame spread the wealth and controlled every aspect of the game. Can Stanford come up with answers, or will Notre Dame’s multi-faceted offense prove unstoppable again?
